Plasma Surgical appoints Dr Steven Walsh as Vice-President, Research and Development
ROSWELL, Ga.-- Plasma Surgical is pleased to announce the appointment of Dr Steven Walsh as Vice President, Research and Development.
Dr Steven Walsh has joined Plasma Surgical to take up the new position of Vice-President of Research and Development. Steven graduated B.S. magna cum laude in Plastics Engineering from University of Lowell in Massachusetts, and holds both a Master of Science degree and a Doctor of Philosophy in Macromolecular Science from Case Western Reserve University. After working as manager for implantable device development for Biocontrol Technology Inc. in Indiana, Steven joined Cryolife in Kennesaw where he worked for 11 years and became Senior Director, Biomaterials Technologies and Product Development. For the last three years he has held the position of Vice-President, Research and Development with Carticept Medical in Alpharetta supervising research
and development on innovative orthopaedic implants and devices.
